Welcome to the Pop Art School!
We are Pascale, Mireille, Eva and Matteo, passionate art teachers.
Pop Art workshop is an art workshop for children from 4 years old. Graduated in art history and art teaching, Pascale is the founder of Pop Art and has done Martenot school, a teaching method that privileges the pleasure of doing and success while gradually discovering the technical means. She also has a degree in Art Therapy and is an art teacher in College and Lycée level in Luxembourg.
Mireille has been a teacher in primary schools during 20 years and is an Art Therapist in Thionville. She loves helping children and adults to express themselves through art and is a real fairy for developing self-confidence through artistic means. She can also have some private session in art therapy with appointment at the workshop in Strassen or at her office in Thionville.
Eva is a passionate artist of the Manga universe. Manga illustrator, she leads Manga classes and workshops at Pop Art and drawing and painting workshops. She trained as a Ceramist in Paris and is specialized in Manga ceramic art.
Matteo made an art school in Lyon and is a passionate artist teacher for children. Formerly a artist for painting and manuscripts renovations.
He arrives at Pop Art this year as a passionate young artist to work with Pascale and Eva and complete the team on Tuesday and Saturday morning groups.
In their work with children, Pascale, Mireille, Eva and Matteo will make them discover works of art, using a wide range of artistic techniques, and gives them the freedom to give their own vision of the work.
They will give a clear and progressive teaching in a guided freedom while respecting the spontaneity of the gesture and the rhythm of each one in order to favor the expression of creativity.
The idea of this course is to awaken children to sensitivity, to stimulate their creativity while guiding them by the quality of the gesture. The goal is to have a more sensory than theoreticalapproach, to learn to look at and feel the balance of shapes, volumes, colors.
Courses are taught in French and English.

Painting on canvas
On Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning,
AT THE WORKSHOP IN STRASSEN
During 2 hours, they will have fun to realize a little painting in acrylics on a canvas 20x20 or a common large one. You bring the cake and we provide the drinks.
35€ per child with a minimum of 8 children and a maximum of 15.
Pottery
On Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning
AT THE WORKSHOP IN STRASSEN
During 2 hours. they will do a project in pottery, a bol or a little sculpture. You bring the cake and we provide the drinks.
35€ per child with a minimum of 8 children and a maximum of 15.
For pottery activity, there is 2 firing so you come and pick up the pieces 10 days after.
Ceramics painting
On Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning
AT THE WORKSHOP IN STRASSEN
During 2 hours. they will do a painting on a mug, a plate or a ceramics trivet tile (your choice). You bring the cake and we provide the drinks.
35€ per child with a minimum of 8 children and a maximum of 15.
For Ceramics painting activity, there is 1 firing so you come and pick up the pieces 5 days after.
